Woah



Part documentary, part re-enactment, and entirely excrutiating. I really enjoyed this--I'd seen those involved in the story on Charlie Rose months back, and at last it wormed its way to the top of the ol' Netflix queue. Good extras on the disc as well.

My jury is out on Dick as an author but trying to hide FOUR terrible actors/actresses under that slick computer rotoscope shit just ain't gonna work!!! The Bacardi commercial is better than the trailer...

I think I'll pass on this one. The cast, as you say, is reason enough!

I remember reading a short story in Again, Dangerous Visions--but I forget title and author--in which humans realize that everybody has multiple personalities, and one "lives" during the day while the other "lives" during the night, sharing the same body but having entirely different lives, careers, mates, etc. Weird how I forget 95% of everything I read or see, but some stuff still burbles around 20 years later.
