This stuff is only the tip of a massive iceberg. Whatever you're prepared to risk--to sacrifice--next week, I'd start steeling yourself to do so now. Last time was the warm-up, and it got pretty goddam ugly in FLA; I know the "Inauguration" was ugly because I was there. It can't happen again, can it?

UGH. I just found out I have to vote by affidavit, because the state didn't update my change of address. I can just IMAGINE what embodiment of attitude will be waiting for me at that election desk, and what I'm going to have to go through once it is established that my name "is not in the book."
I'm already irritated. No wonder people don't vote.
Fuckers. You'll probably have to brave a line of red-tie sportin' W. zealots as well, challenging your ID. At least NY is safely blue.
