After more than a decade as an elementary school teacher/teacher mentor/Arts Integration Specialist with Baltimore County, Cha has accepted a position with Young Audiences in Baltimore. No more summers off! Less money! Geoff will have no health insurance for ten months!
But, it's her dream job and I'm all for it; I wish I had a dream job--I can't even imagine what that would be.
For a few weeks she's been pestering me about what she should do if they offered her the job. My take? Do what will help the most kids. Money and time off aside, that's what drives her, that's what she should worry about. Fuck money~we'll be alright.
I just hope I can get this broken wisdom tooth taken care of in the next couple weeks!
