Day 116

Fun day. A student throwing a fit on the floor in my class had a knife fall out of her pocket. A big knife. I had to bounce kids from my room for throwing things and disrespecting me. But we got through the lesson ok in both classes.

One of the kids I bounced flattened the passenger side front tire on my car. I'm pretty sure I know who it was. At least he only took the cap off and let the air out instead of slashing it.

I put the donut tire on and drove to the auto parts place in my neighborhood. I needed an air compressor anyhow.

12 days with the students until Spring Break. Europe. Amsterdam. Coffee.

Yeah, "coffee."

Just to pipe in: you have a hell of a lot more patience with kids than I do. I couldn't even be bothered to see my neighbor's kid's project, a ten minute slide show about chocolate, even though he used a dozen or more of my photos.

Wish I could meet you in Amsterdam, now that would be fun. They have some quality coffee there.

What's stopping you? Imagine the photos you could take! Imagine the chocolate and coffee!

Who cares about work or money or obligations?

I never expected to have this much patience with kids. I'm not sure where it comes from.
