Not too concerned

This doesn't concern me much, given the importance of my librarian job. Surely if there's an "economic Armageddon" in the US, I'll still be ok?

Maybe there will be an economic Rapture before the "economic Armageddon," and Grover Norquist and his ilk will fly up into the sky.

Ack! I'm violating my self-imposed political issue ban! I made it a couple weeks.

This is another issue where EVERYONE WHO PAYS ATTENTION KNOWS that the Bush tax cuts could RUIN us - it's not rocket science. Kerry would have pushed for a repeal on the tax cut on those making $100,000 or more, and that would have amounted to a real chunk of change.

Realistically we would need MORE taxation to lessen the inevitable economic shock, but Kerry's intention would have bought us some time.

Wouldn't it be great if we could charge the fiscal pain to those who voted for Bush and his BAND OF LIARS? If we go through this predicted mess IT WILL BE THEIR FAULT but they will be AMONG THE BIGGEST WHINERS!!

Hopefully the predictions won't bear fruit - one of the best aspects of the world economic mess is that China holds VAST reserves of dollars, and if they act too quickly to move to Euros the dollars they're stuck with will be worth less. We probably have time to work things out.....
