I, for one, wish Mr. Bernard Kerik had not withdrawn his name as the new Don of Homeland Security. It would have been much more fun for shit like this to come out in the Senate.
Yet another "values conservative" caught in flagrant hypocritto; oh, and Judith Regan, one of Kerik's lady luvvahs, and publisher of Rush and Kerik and a Monica Lewinsky parody, used to have a conservative values talk show on FOX.
It's funny how the "liberal" media blew sunshine up this guy's ass until he took his name out of the hat; I bet anything they knew all the shit about his mob ties, infidelities, corporate scams, kickback schemes, and nanny troubles all along. Bastards.

I love thinking about the egg thrown on W's face by Kerik's implosion. The excessive haste and poor or minimal investigation of Kerik's past reiterates how bush-league Bush's administration seems. BUT ON THE OTHER HAND I wonder whether this was all a ploy of Bush to distance himself from Giuliani. There have been reports lately that Bush has viewed G as not loyal enough, and a threat. Plus, Schumer and Clinton dutifully got on board the Kerik bandwagon, so THEY got egged by this as well, which could be helpful to Republicans in the next election.
New York went big for Kerry, and now one of their own is shown for what he is - opportunistic, sleazy, and quasi-criminal.
Something tells me Giuliani is out for good...Bush doesn't need him, or New York.....
What I mean is that now that Bush has won, he no longer needs Giuliani as a 911 prop, and can afford to sink him politically using Kerik. And embarrass Schumer and Hillary as well.
It wouldn't surprise me if Rove came up with this as a method to deflate Giuliani. I'm sure they're desperate to ensure no centrist/liberal Republican inherits the purple next time. McCain must certainly be emboldened by Giuliani's public lapse (he might end up enduring some uncomfortable revelations himself with this Kerik stuff dribbling out); perhaps that's why he went on the offensive against Rummy this week?
