Bhagavad-Gita

Arjuna, the realm of sacred lore
is nature--beyond its triad of qualities,
dualities, and mundane rewards,
be forever lucid, alive to your self.

For the discerning priest,
all of sacred lore
has no more value than a well
when water flows everywhere.

The Second Teaching, stanzas 45-46

A knitter avoiding nit-picking? Na!

Hey--you inspired me to post a long comment, which is what the blogosphere is all about. I'd recommend you continue weaving your knitting and politics together.

We can disagree wholeheartedly about Bush, and yet agree about Kerry, and still decide to support different candidates. What a country...

All the Best!
