At the southwestern edge of Druid Hill Park, approximately a quarter-mile from our house, is the
Rawlings Conservatory and Botanic Gardens. Its Victorian structure was recently restored. Nice orchid room, nice palms, nice cactus collection--including a fine specimen of
lophophora williamsii, which I harvested for buttons.
* I spent a pleasant 45 minutes there Saturday morning, taking blurry photos.



*[I only kid, of course. Those buttons had already fallen off, I merely picked them up.]
