netflixed

I could nit-pick a few things about Up in the Air, were I so inclined. But I really liked the film, and in particular George Clooney's performance. I kept thinking as I watched it that this guy is as close as we come to Cary Grant anymore. And to think he used to be some dude on bad sit coms and doctor melodramas.

Because of the spring forward I'm being far too pithy today. I apologize.

Clooney is a national treasure. And I liked that the girl effed him over. But the film was meh.

I can see, with a minor difference in my mood before starting the film, how I'd feel exactly the same way. Meh was alright by me at the time, though.

Watching five minutes of the deleted scenes with commentary made me want to punch the writer in the face, however.

i loved it. I thought it was a really interesting look inot america and it's layoffs. I am surprised that aspect of it didn't resonate more with people only looking at the love story or who effed who over

It was a complicated theme that you NEVER see in rom/coms and I thought it was pretty smart

I'd punch Reitman in the face, for sure. And while we're at it, the music director could use a kick in the sack.
