Tweety takes charge
I have trashed Chris Matthews here in the past. He's one of the reasons I can't watch political "coverage" any more. But he actually goes after a wingnut here, criticizing his lack of historical knowledge and at one point shouting "this is pathetic"! He compares the guest's vacuity to that of White House spokesperson Dana Perino, who didn't know anything about the Cuban Missile Crisis. He almost acts like a journalist.

Ok, I usually don't watch stuff like because of all the yelling.
But I did and it was so worth it. WHAT AN IDIOT!
I love me some douche-off!
Usually I agree with Geoff, but Chris is almost always OK in my book. He actually rarely yells, is often complimentary, and is a real lover of the game if politics. His only crime is a fanboy or puppy dog level of enthusiasm. He also regularly admits when he's wrong.
Harball has consistently provides the best television coverage of this campaign season. If you think otherwise, you're probably not actually watching.

You might be right--I barely watch anymore. But I keep thinking back to him gushing about Bush on the flightdeck of that aircraft carrier in the halcyon days of Mission Accomplished. And other sins less memorable, but oft repeated. It will be hard for me to watch regularly any cable TV "news" or political show in future.
And grammar? We ain't got no such concerns 'round these parts.
