Welcome to the neighborhood

Walking to the Park on Friday I passed a guy sitting on the stoop outside his apartment building. I said "hello" and he replied: "You ain't fooling nobody, Mr. Officer."

what was your response? Hearty hales of laughter, or a bemused smirk?

    Funny tale regardless.

  2. Surprise, laughter, then bemused smirk. There's really nothing to say in that situation--it's like answering "Have you stopped beating your wife?"

  7. Yes, I mean NO, I mean I never...

    You're under arrest!

The last time I took the GRE handlebar-y was featured in an analogy question.

maybe I can get you a "millions of dead cops" t-shirt from John's Hardcore contacts. That may give you some street cred.
